Jakobe Coles

Jakobe Coles is a strong, savvy forward who combines physicality with touch and basketball IQ. At 6'7", he plays with a powerful interior presence but also has the finesse to step outside and stretch the floor. Offensively, Coles is an efficient scorer who thrives around the rim with crafty finishes, soft hands, and great footwork. He’s not afraid to battle in the paint, and he brings a reliable mid-range game along with emerging range from beyond the arc. Coles has a high motor and a willingness to do the dirty work—setting hard screens, crashing the glass, and taking smart, high-percentage shots. Defensively, he uses his strength and positioning well, guarding post players and holding his own in switches when pulled out to the perimeter. A key contributor during his time at TCU, Coles consistently brought toughness and leadership to a competitive Big 12 environment. He’s the type of forward who understands his role, plays with confidence, and delivers in clutch moments—making him a valuable piece in any system.
