Player Profile
Ronie DeGray III is a smart, physical forward who brings toughness, versatility, and a high basketball IQ to the floor. Built like a classic glue guy, DeGray does a little bit of everything—he rebounds, defends, moves the ball, and can step out and hit open shots. Offensively, he plays within the flow of the game, using smart cuts, timely drives, and strong finishing around the rim to stay effective. He has a solid touch from mid-range and has worked to stretch his game beyond the arc. Defensively, DeGray is dependable and positionally sound. His strength allows him to defend both wings and smaller bigs, and he’s not afraid to mix it up on the glass. He reads the game well and often ends up in the right place at the right time, making the extra play that doesn’t always show up in the box score. Having played at UMass and Missouri, DeGray brings valuable experience and a team-first mindset. He’s the kind of player who elevates a lineup through effort, unselfishness, and a willingness to do the dirty work—all while being capable of stepping up when his number’s called.
